Privacy and your documents
This notice is written by Rukman Digital Ventures, the operator of eMedVisa. It is deliberately plain — if anything here is unclear, ask us before you upload anything.
What we collect
An account needs an email address and a password. An application stores what you tell us about the trip: passport nationality, treatment specialty, intended travel date, number of attendants, and your progress through each stage. If you upload files — passport scan, medical reports, invitation letter, bank statement — we store those files.
Who can see your uploads
Only you, from your signed-in account. Files live in a private storage area scoped to your user ID with no public links, and database access rules stop any other account from reading your rows. When you ask a specialist to review a specific document, that access is limited to the file you point us at and to the job you asked for.
What we never do
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not send your medical reports to a hospital unless you ask us to, and we tell you which hospitals before we do. We never take custody of your passport, and we never ask you to courier original documents to us.
How long we keep things
Your application data and uploads stay until you delete them or ask us to. Email us from your account address and we remove your applications, tasks and files. Records we need for accounting — an invoice for an assist or concierge — are kept as long as Indian tax law requires, without your medical documents attached.
Cookies and analytics
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising trackers on the patient dashboard.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to help@emedvisa.com from the address on your account and we will action it and confirm in writing.
